Overview: The Major JJL-138-24 "Jamb Jacket" is recessed to accommodate T-strike. JJL-138-24 is 24" in length for 1-3/8" doors. Repairs and covers damaged and splitout door jambs without the expense of replacing the whole jamb. Adds reinforcement to healthy undamaged jambs for additional security. Non-handed. Can be used on right or left hand doors. Designed to cover standard l/2" rabbeted jamb. Finished in White Powdercoat finish for durability. (May be repainted to match existing frame.) Supplied with strike plate and mounting screws.
